Run, run as fast as you can ... all the way down to year R!

This week, Year R have been learning all about the story of the gingerbread man. We read the gingerbread man in our literacy lesson, learnt all about the different characters, then we had a go at sequencing each part. We used different adverbs to retell the story in our writing. The children then got to make gingerbread men in our art lesson and we experimented with putting them into water to see what would happen, like with the gingerbread man that the old lady cooks in the story.
