Our 3 year old friends have been exploring the story 'We're going on a bear hunt' . This is an absolute favourite of ours and we have all loved joining in with the repeated refrains and movements.  The children have had the opportunity to explore their senses using sensory trays containing; water, grass, mud, snow, sticks and leaves. We all went on a bear hunt, trying to find bears hiding in our environment, it was great fun to find a bear and begin to use prepositional language to describe where we found them.

Our two year old friends have been off on adventures this week wearing wellington boots for a walk around the school site. They heard birds, felt the wind on their faces and touched leaves, using many of their senses to explore the world they live in. They have also used the 'big school' cookery room to make yummy biscuits to eat at home.
