Year 1 have been exploring infinity and beyond….Wow what an amazing week we had in Year 1! We participated in two zoom calls with REAL astronauts! Our first video call was with Helen Sharman. Did you know that she was the first British Astronaut to go to space? We were even able to ask her a question. We found out lots of interesting information about space such as how do you get food in space? What do you wear in space? What is the best thing about space travel? We then had a second zoom which was based around how to train to be an astronaut.

This learning will come in handy when we learn about space and flight in the summer!

Maybe one of us might train to be an astronaut one day!
