Year 3, Library blog:

The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go. We truly believe this and we know very well that reading empowers children with knowledge, vocabulary and dreams. So, we ventured to Lordshill Library for an afternoon surrounded by books.

Upon our arrival, the year 3 children were excited to be in a different environment and even more excited to open the covers of new books. It was fantastic to see the love for reading that was fostered by all of our children as they searched for their book of choice. From fantasy fiction to scientific non-fiction, Lordshill Library truly had it all. Many children were excited to bring home a new book to read and look forward to returning with their family - hopefully making it a new local spot.

We feel it’s also important to recognise the impeccable behaviour that our children demonstrated whilst representing Mansel Park. They made us very proud and were recognised by the local community for their politeness and respectful behaviour. Well done Year 3!
