Year 4’s Exciting Day at Calshot Activities Centre!
Our Year 4 pupils had a fantastic time on their recent day trip to Calshot Activities Centre, where they embraced adventure and challenged themselves in a range of exciting activities. The day kicked off with an exhilarating skiing session on the indoor ski slope. For many, it was their first time skiing, and they showed incredible determination and teamwork as they studied the basics of balance and control.
After skiing, the children faced the rock-climbing wall, where they demonstrated both courage and problem-solving skills. The children encouraged one another to reach new heights—literally! In addition to climbing, they had a chance to try their hand at archery. Many children discovered a hidden talent for shooting arrows, practicing focus and precision while having lots of fun.
The day wrapped up with a low-ropes activity, which required cooperation and trust as the children navigated obstacles close to the ground. It was a brilliant opportunity to build teamwork and confidence.
The whole year group thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we are so proud of how they embraced every challenge!
