Harvest blog:

There's nothing quite like spending a busy afternoon outdoors, especially when the weather is as lovely as it was today. The sun was shining brightly, with just a few fluffy clouds dotting the sky, and a gentle breeze kept us cool as we worked in the garden. It was the perfect day for harvesting our vegetables, and we were eager to gather the fruits of our labor.

We started with the carrots, followed by pak choi, beetroot, radishes, peas, and finally, lettuce. Each vegetable, fresh from the earth, added its own vibrant color and unique scent to our baskets. By the time we finished, our baskets were overflowing with fresh produce.

It was a busy afternoon, but immensely rewarding. Harvesting vegetables in such lovely weather made the hard work enjoyable, and the sense of accomplishment as we surveyed our haul was wonderful.

Miss Boe's classroom now smells very organic,  as the scents of our bountiful harvest fill the air.  This afternoon in the garden was a perfect reminder of the joys of growing your own food. From the first planting to the final harvest, every step is an adventure, and the results are always delicious.
