Pip and Pap Phonics - Winners of the Start Up Learning Provider of the Year - The Learning Awards 2024

First major education award won by The Learning Federation! 

Our school phonics programme, Pip and Pap Phonics, was revealed as the 'Start Up Learning Provider of the Year Award' at 'The Learning Awards 2024' in London! 

Hosted by the LPI Awards, teachers and pupils presented to the judging panel in November, before being invited to the ceremony at The Grosvenor Hotel, London where they were awarded their prize by Claudia Winkleman.

Pip and Pap Phonics is one of a small number of phonics programmes officially validated by the Department for Education. Created, trialled and tested by practitioners and pupils within the Learning Federation, Pip and Pap Phonics is now used by a number of other school settings across Southampton, Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire. The books and resources have proven instrumental in fostering successful reading outcomes for countless children.

We are absolutely thrilled with this award, which represents the hard work, intellect, creativity and passion of all of our practitioners, but also of our pupils, who have helped to shape the scheme! We are so pleased that our phonics programme and books are making a difference around the country to children's learning in early reading and writing.
