Poetry by heart

Last term, we housed a poetry competition in line with a national initiative; Poetry by Heart. Our children worked hard to learn different poems from pre and post 1914. It was so lovely to see so many parents arrive to watch our children perform. Some children have also been selected to represent the school in the regional competitions. We wish Emma-Lily, Jocie, Sharne, Kelsey, Darlia and Marshall the best of luck and we look forward to finding out the results on the 1st May 2024.
