Match point!

Boris Becker once said “I love the winning, I can take the losing but most of all I love to play.

” Our children certainly embodied this at our David Lloyd tournament this week. 

The year 3 and 4 representatives did us very proud by playing their absolute best throughout each game. Endurance was required as they played game after game, desperate to take a win! Winning wasn’t easy as the competition was tough, but we were able to take the lead in more than a few games. 

Throughout the whole afternoon, our children’s faces were plastered with the biggest smile you had ever seen. Bobby even said “I have had so much fun, I don’t want to go home yet!”

Overall, we took 3rd position in our  tournament. We are incredibly proud of all the children who took part, despite tennis being a new game for many.
