Year 1 and 2 Story Spread

Now that the weather is a little warmer and the sun is starting to shine, it was wonderful to invite KS1 parents in to school for a “Storytelling Spread,” – a chance to listen to a story, to read together and enjoy our school grounds in the sunshine, with some juice and cake!

Parents were invited to come into school before pick-up, to enjoy a book and to read with their child for pleasure in a relaxed and informal environment. Pupils pre chose their favourite books and stories from our school library to share and enjoy together. It was fantastic to see so many parents in school - thank you so much for your support! Each year group will enjoy a "Storytelling Spread" this half term - please ask the school office for more details.
